This application serves as a clinical tool for managing patients presenting with chest pain potentially of cardiac origin, employing high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT; Roche Elecsys) algorithms at 0/1 hour and 0/3 hours. It aligns with the 2020 guidelines established by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) for Non-ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction.

The app is designed to facilitate clinical decision-making through a series of straightforward questions regarding ECG findings, the onset of chest pain prior to evaluation, and hs-cTnT values obtained during the initial assessment and at intervals of 1 hour or 3 hours post-evaluation. This enables healthcare providers to achieve a high accuracy in ruling in or ruling out myocardial infarction, with an impressive 75% success rate within the first hour of patient presentation. For the remaining 25% of cases, a follow-up observation period of up to 3 hours is recommended before a conclusive decision can be made.

Notably, the application is offered at no cost and is tailored for healthcare professionals engaged in the care of patients experiencing chest pain. This includes cardiologists, emergency room physicians, critical care specialists, as well as residents and interns.
